Motorcoach Information 

You’ll find history, nature, art and culture all within a few easy-to-walk blocks in Downtown Columbia!

Motorcoaches can access the downtown area via Broad Street or Main Street. Drop passengers off on Main Street for easy access to unique shops & restaurants, old-fashioned stores, arts center and workshops, historical district, Columbia Theater Cultural Resources Center, The Red Wolf Coalition, and more! Tyrrell County Visitor’s Center and the Walter B. Jones, Sr. Center for the Sounds are just across Hwy. 64.

Motorcoaches can park at the Visitor’s Center or turn right onto Water St. and continue to Bridge St., and park behind the library. You’re only 2 ½ blocks from drop-off.  Currently, no dumping station is available.

Birding, wildlife viewing, workshops and many other activities and events throughout the county offer outstanding opportunities for groups. Motorcoaches can park at Pettigrew State Park, Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. As full amenities are not yet available at all sites, please read details of each to determine which are most appropriate for your group.
