River Town Christmas has Your Shopping All Wrapped Up! |

The 10th annual River Town Christmas event will be celebrated from Thursday, December 4th to Sunday, December 7, 2008 with activities in Columbia and throughout the area. This “Home for the Holidays” event invites you to enjoy the beginning of an old-fashioned Christmas. There will be traditional tree lightings, a lighted boat parade, culinary arts contest, one of a kind shopping with downtown merchants, unique gifts from craft vendors, Christmas parade, a live nativity, holiday open houses at historic homes and businesses, Holiday singspiration, pictures with Santa, concerts by the high school band and chorus, horse-drawn carriage rides throughout down town and the La Posada (a Hispanic Holiday celebration).
