Hunting & Fishing

Tyrrell County residents have lived from the land and water for generations. Today, residents and visitors  can enjoy bagging bear, deer, small game and waterfowl. Fishing in the Scuppernong River, Alligator River and the Albemarle Sound brings striped bass, catfish, crappie, longnose gar, carp, shiner, largemouth bass, darters, bluegills and white perch.
